NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the annual meeting of the members of the Council Grove Life Center, Inc. will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.  The meeting will be held at the Life Center, 300 North Union, Council Grove, Kansas commencing at 7:00 pm.

Reports will be presented regarding the financial condition and activities of the Life Center.  One (1) director, who will serve a 3 year term, will be elected by the membership. 

Please plan to attend and be actively involved in your Council Grove Life Center.

AUGUST NEWSLETTER

We aren't quite ready for a FALL newsletter, because Summer is still going on. Actually, it feels like Summer hasn't even done it's thing yet! But at the Council Grove Life Center, we are preparing a line-up of fantastic fitness activities that we are sure will fit right into your 'Back-to-School' schedule. So maybe we are not ready for Summer to be over, but we are definitely excited to kick-off an extra FIT Fall!

Weights Circuit- A beginner level strengthening class that teaches proper form through various resistance types and exercises. If you are looking for an introduction, or ideas and motivation, to a solid strengthening routine, this is the class for you!  Mondays, 5:30-6:30p

 
Kick IT!- Kick your cardio routine up a notch with this mix of Cardio Kickboxing and HIIT! Basic, easy-to-follow kickboxing moves, with a twist of crazy--completely random intervals of high-intensity exercise to blast calories and improve your cardiovascular health!
Mondays, 6:45-7:30p

Tabata- Short on time but need to get a killer sweat session? Tabata is the ultimate time-saver--an interval format of 20 seconds high-intensity and 10 seconds rest, repeated eight times per exercise. Burn major calories and see fitness improvement with a minimal time commitment!
